Space+Time examines two coalescing black holes as perceived from Earth in a detection spanning a handful of seconds, and extrapolates this event into an 8-minute audiovisual work. Spread over a sequence of Inspiral, Merger and Ringdown, the work features two pianos in responsive interaction, supporting a single wordless vocal expression. The composition features an animated visual overlay crafted during the digital capture process.
