Continuum features real gravitational wave detections, measured on the audio band, with sampled manipulations and verbatim spoken word as a conceptual composition of electronic beats and wave samples exploring the idea of the pursuit of information - altogether, the work presents a juxtaposition of information and noise, as a reflection of the experiences of the scientists who study this astronomical phenomenon.

Continuum features visual art (pictured above: ‘Uno’) by Perth-based artist Rina Freiberg, created in live response to the audio, presented as a time lapse of its creation.
The composed work was shortlisted for industry presentation at the APRA AMCOS High Score Summit, connecting professionals creating sound art and music for interactive systems and gaming.
