Distinct Glowing Things
In composing this soundscape, Aiv has observed the connection of the everyday with the exalted.
Recording repeated, short passages of double bassist Monty Shnier alongside his own voice and piano denatured sonically by sound artist Germaine Png, Aiv frames this perception as a long-form piece of ambient music.
This work was created on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung, who are its continuing custodians.
We acknowledge their Elders past and present as well as the future leaders of these lands and on this continent.
